Light-Filled Apartment, Mumbai

A residence in Mumbai for a client whose life is spent looking after others. The design reflects her character directly: warm, unpretentious, filled with light.

The Approach

At 2,500 sq ft the apartment is not large, but it holds people easily. Spaces open generously, materials are honest, and nothing asks for more attention than it deserves. A home shaped entirely by who lives in it.

The Outcome

The apartment is warm and catches good light through most of the day. For a client who spends herself looking after others, the ask was simple: a place that looks after you. The rooms do it without drawing attention to the fact.
