A self-service banking lobby (E-Lobby) for J&K Bank at Lal Chowk, Srinagar. An E-Lobby lets customers bank at any hour without queuing, with more services than an ATM offers.
The space had to be clearly modern, carry the bank's brand and respect the heritage of the region. That led to soft curved forms, white surfaces that recall snow, digital lines on the floor, and the bank's three brand colours.
The lobby shows how a self-service banking space can carry the culture of its region.
