Women's Bank Branch — J&K Bank
The design of this 6,500 sq ft, ground plus three floor premise embodies the true essence of the women of Jammu and Kashmir. The concept revolves around the logo colours of the bank, metamorphosed into feminine pastel shades, which also demarcate the four seasons of the region.
The ground floor reflects the shades of autumn, the first floor sings the hues of spring, the second floor honours the glory of winter, and the third floor tells the story of summer. All these elements were carefully thought and implemented by means of fabrics, graphics, lattice work, and light fixtures.
The layout allows women from all walks of life — a young mother with a newborn, a senior citizen on a wheelchair, a professional, or a teenager — to conduct banking operations with ease and satisfaction.
A 6,500 sq ft, ground-plus-three bank branch designed to embody the women of Jammu and Kashmir — each floor given a different seasonal palette derived from the region's landscape, demarcated through fabrics, graphics, lattice work, and light.
