Located at 2,200 feet elevation near Tungarli Lake, this development comprises four bungalows on a 25,000 sq ft plot. Each features extensive living spaces with large terraces, four bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and servants quarters.
The outdoor terrace is private and the form of each house shields it from the neighbour. Designed with Vaastu principles and south-facing roofs for solar panels, the project integrates sustainable living with the natural setting of the Western Ghats.
The project demonstrates how sensitive site planning can achieve privacy and individuality within a multi-unit development — each bungalow occupies its own distinct position on the hillside, connected by landscaped paths rather than shared walls.
